Jorge Lorenzo is proud of his Lamborghini...

Jorge Lorenzo is always there to cheer us up with his dream life reality. He deserved it after all, he risked his life, he suffered a lot and he is a five-time World Champion, forever as he likes to point out. His holidays in Dubai are memories and back in Lugano, he can enjoy the latest car he acquired: a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63. The delivery was obviously not done discreetly...

Jorge Lorenzo published a video where he introduces himself to the brand's headquarters Lamborghini in Sant'Agata to have his 770 horsepower Roadster delivered to him. A limited edition racing car with which the coat of arms wanted to celebrate its history. A purchase that dates back to mid-2020, of which Lamborghini has now released a short celebratory video. The Majorcan, wearing a Phillip Plein spiked jacket identified by MOW, picked up the car directly from Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali and spoke at length about his love for the car.

« Being able to own a Lamborghini is a man's dream ". Jorge said. “ With such an incredible design, the SVJ 63 is truly the best. You can't have a car more special than this. Plus, my model is the one shown at Pebble Beach, so it's even more special. I'm a car collector and this one is truly unique. Visually I like the lines and the style, they have improved the aerodynamics a lot and it is a very special car with a lot of history behind it. I had a Huracán in 2015, then I had an Aventador SV. I love the sound of this machine. When you cut the throttle and hear it crackle...it's amazing ».

Jorge Lorenzo remembers Assen 2013

Can ILorenzo orgies launches into philosophical considerations of which he has the secret: “ In every circumstance, in every condition and in every moment, you have the opportunity to see things in a positive or negative way. And I always try to see things in a positive way. When I was a driver, even in the worst conditions, for example when I broke my collarbone at Assen 2013, I always thought positive. I said to myself “why not, why couldn’t I, after the operation, go back to Assen and try to run ? ".

« I did it thirty hours after surgery and managed to finish with a fifth place. Nobody ever did it. But in my mind, I was thinking, “I can do this.” My goal on the track and in races is to win and go as fast as possible. This is the goal. The faster you go, the more competitive you are. On the road, however, it's a different story. There, it's just a matter of moving from one point to another. And I'm never in a hurry. I actually normally sit in the passenger seat. I'm really proud of this car and can't wait to drive it on the streets of Lugano ».

The Aventador SVJ 63 Jorge Lorenzo presents convincing figures. The engine, a V12 with 770 hp and 720 Nm of maximum torque, allows the car to sprint from zero to one hundred in 2,9 seconds, a little more than a MotoGP, then reaching a top speed of more than 350 km/h. The price ? Difficult to make a precise estimate, even the amount required for a standard SVJ is around half a million euros.
