No extrajudicial agreement between Valentino Rossi and the former guardians of his villa having been reached, the two parties appeared yesterday morning before labor judge Maurizio Paganelli in Pesaro.
We recall that the Moldovan spouses are demanding from the Italian champion unpaid overtime and severance pay amounting to 114 thousand euros (see here).
At the opening of the hearing, the judge tried, as usual but in vain, to find an amicable agreement between the parties.
The guards' lawyer, Mario Del Prete, accepted the judge's invitation by announcing a lower figure to close the dispute (more or less half of the request) while the lawyer Virgilio Quagliato, who defends the Doctor's interests, considered the request, even reduced, very far from the wishes of his client. To whom, however, he would send the proposal for him to make a decision.
Attorney Del Prete requested that Valentino Rossi was questioned and the judge reserved his decision.
In any case, the case is postponed and, due to the computer system adopted by the magistrate which manages the hearing schedule, should not find a conclusion before May 2020…
