It has become a very nice tradition that Honda generally offers us at the end of the year, the Honda Racing Thanks Day celebrating in Japan the pilots and machines of the golden-winged firm, motorcycles and cars alike.

After a few years when the party had lost a little of its luster, in 2020 (with just videos due to Covid) and 2021 (13th edition postponed), opus 2022 takes on some colors with the confirmed presence of Marc Marquez next to Takaaki Nakagami regarding the MotoGP category while Somkiat Chantra, Ai Ogura, Mario Aji, Taiyo Furusato, Xavi Virgo et Mike Di Meglio will complement the speed drivers, without even mentioning those from other disciplines or F1.

This year, Honda is pulling out all the stops again with a dedicated site to announce the date of 27th November and the return to the Motegi circuit, for what has already allowed us to see among other things Fernando Alonso riding an RC213V in 2016, a match MotoGP vs. Indycar in 2017, a Dani Pedrosa's new victory in the Super Cub race in 2018, or Cal Crutchlow riding an NSR 500 in 2019 not to mention the famous “Kagami Biraki” offering us the spectacle of pilots in the traditional dress of the land of the rising sun…

The event will be visible via streaming.

Our favorite editions? 2018 with a victory of Dani Pedrosa, in a Honda Super Cub! Then 2017 where “Titanium” beat Marc Marquez himself, still in a Honda Super Cub.
