The San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix, which will take place in Misano on September 4, always has a special flavor, not only because of its proximity to Tavullia and Valentino Rossi, but also because it closes the summer season on the Adriatic coast. As a result, it is generally preceded by a multitude of events, and this year of the 50th anniversary is far from being an exception…
For those who are going there, here is the list of scheduled events, which begins a week before the GP and in which it would of course obviously be in good taste to include visits to Tavullia (VR46), Coriano (SIC58) and Misano ( Nicky Hayden)!
Saturday August 27 in Rimini:
“THE ROOTS OF RIDERS’ LAND” exhibition. The event is free and will be held at Castel Sismondo (Rimini) from August 27 to September 5. The exhibition will be opened on Saturday August 27 at 11:30 a.m.
– August 27 and 28 entry from 10:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
– From September 29 to 5 entry from 13:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.;
– Evening Wednesday and Friday from 21:00 p.m. to 23:00 p.m.

In addition to the exhibition "THE ROOTS OF RIDERS' LAND", there will also be the exhibition “RACING WOO-DOO” curated by designer Aldo Drudi. RIDE TO FIM AWARDS
The FIM, in collaboration with the Federazione Motociclistica Italiana (FMI), has launched the Ride to FIM Awards – The Future of Motorcycling project, four events starting in September and leading to the celebrations of the FIM Motorcycling World Champions, the FIM Awards, scheduled for December 3 in Rimini (Italy).
The events will be organized in the region that hosts the Awards, and are part of a territorial synergy project that sees the FIM collaborate with the region of Emilia-Romagna, Visit Romagna and the municipality of Rimini to promote the region, the Motor Valley and Riders' Land.
This will be an opportunity to address and explore fundamental questions for the future of motorcycling, with industry experts, journalists, industry members and motorcycling institutions. Vocational training for young people; motorcycling as a factor of respect for the environment and sustainability; the development of technical solutions and innovations towards ever greater sustainability of motorcycle sport will be the subjects covered during this series of courses.
The first event takes place on Thursday September 1 at the Misano Marco Simoncelli World Circuit, on the occasion of the Gran Premio MotoGP di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, and will be aimed at a group of young riders from the Italian national selection, of the Italian Junior Circuit Racing Championship and the FIM Women's European Cup. Personalities from the world of media, training and human resources, team directors and technical managers from the MotoGP and WSBK paddock will pass on advice and methods to young riders already involved in circuit racing.

EPHEMERAL POST OFFICE
From 9:15 a.m. to 14:45 p.m., the Misano World Circuit will host a post office (Tribune C space) where a philatelic edition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Misano World Circuit will be available.
Inside, a box of six postcards, dedicated to the events of each decade, will be on sale, as well as stickers with the 50th anniversary logo. It will also be possible to purchase the unique postcard, place the special stamp cancellation and send it from within the circuit.
