The new Tech3 KTM rider in MotoGP said : " it's a gift for my father, who told me all year 'I'm only going to ask you one thing, you have to give me the Triumph, and when I came first in the TTT, he told me 'don't give up... until In the end, the bike is for me...' ". Becoming the most complete rider of the season was not only the result of Raúl's hard work, but also thanks to the work of his entire team, as the TTT winner commented: “ It’s a team and it’s everyone’s job. " he said.

The moment was tinged with emotion but before handing over the keys to the new Street Triple RS to his father, Raul Fernandez took control of the Triumph. He started it up and found out about the driving modes and how to disengage the traction control. “ I will go out with her for walks once in a while, when possible, but I want to take care of her, because she is a gift and a memory that I want to keep. I know it's the only one in the world with this decoration, so I'm not going to put it on the track or anything like that, we want to preserve it " commented Juan Carlos Fernandez.
