Being rich and famous is an enviable situation, but it doesn't only offer advantages...

Therefore, Valentino Rossi could have aspired to a certain serenity after the three plaintiffs in the case of the noise level of its circuit in Tavullia were dismissed by the Regional Administrative Court (see here). But no, it is now the former guards of his property in Tavullia who are demanding €114 from him for, among other things, having worked overtime...

The case dates back to Christmas Eve 2016 when the couple was made redundant during a change of ownership, the house passing from the hands of Graziano Rossi to that of his son.

A year later, Victor Untu and Jigan Zinaida, husband and wife aged 62 and 60, turned to a lawyer to translate Valentino Rossi in court to claim six months of compensation, plus five years of unpaid overtime. In total, €114 including €000 for overtime.

It must be said that, according to the guards, the task was not easy to maintain the property established on a plot of 20 square meters, with its two kilometers of fence, its manually controlled irrigation system, its 000 cameras and its 9 projectors!

Even in the absence of its famous owner busy driving around the world, the brave couple had apparently made it a point to spare no effort, counting their hours from 6:30 a.m. until 21:30 p.m. at night, and even charging for the regular eradication of flies and mosquitoes…

Their lawyer reports: “I asked the judge to asking Valentino Rossi to confirm what he had said in 2006 to Mr. Untu, to do all the work necessary for the proper maintenance and conservation of the complex as if it were their own home. We ask that the judge jointly order the Rossi, father and son, to pay what is owed to my clients, traumatically dismissed on December 24 and 27, 2016.”

Opposite, the Italian champion's lawyers retort that Valentino Rossi never asked them for all this additional work since he was only there occasionally, and above all, that the maintenance work on the garden and the swimming pool was not not been made by the guards since a long list of company invoices was regularly presented.

Hearing set for Friday the 12th before judge Maurizio Paganelli…
