The Moto2 riders only had the morning to warm up on the Phillip Island track. Their afternoon work was in fact canceled due to the weather.
Australia offered the Moto2 protagonists a half-time break due to bad weather. In fact, they only worked in the morning, the rain forcing them to stay sheltered in the afternoon. Conditions which had forced the exit of the red flag from the first minutes of the MotoGP exercise.
