If there are many MotoGP teams where we generally welcome the arrival of rain, it is the satellite teams and, among them, the LCR, Marc VDS and Octo Pramac teams particularly stand out, each of which has formidable attackers on wet ground.

It is therefore hardly surprising to find Danilo Petrucci just behind Cal Crutchlow, even if the Italian driver wants a dry race on Sunday. His teammate, ranked much further down, seems much less satisfied for the moment.

Danilo Petrucci, 2nd, 1'41.010: “It's a shame, even for the public who came to see us. It was also very hard for us since it was very cold and there was too much water on the track. In the end, I am satisfied with the time I set during the first run, since it was not possible to attack during the second part of FP1. We are in good shape at the moment, this second place is very good and I hope to do well tomorrow. I also hope that the race will take place in the dry on Sunday. »

Scott Redding, 12th, 1'43.314: “Very cold, very wet, and not fun. This morning the conditions weren't too bad, but we were at the limit. On the second outing in FP1, the feeling seemed to improve. But in the end, it was overall a day for nothing. When conditions are like this, you have a lot to lose and not much to gain. Then, in the afternoon, it was too dangerous to stay on the track. I hope conditions will improve tomorrow. »
