During this summer break from the Grands Prix, the news has moved to Japan where the legendary 8 Hours event will take place next weekend on the Suzuka circuit.

Curiously, Stefan bradl will not participate, although an official Honda test driver. We remember that the German rider was registered on one of the official motorcycles last year (FCC TSR) alongside Randy de Puniet et Dominique Aegerter but was unable to take the flight to Japan because of an ear infection.

This year, Honda preferred to leave him on the MotoGP program, where he has just replaced Franco Morbidelli during the German Grand Prix by obtaining a relatively modest 16th place, 26 seconds behind Dani Pedrosa.

He is also expected to take part in the back-to-school event in Brno on August 5 as a wild card before making another appearance in Misano on September 9.

It is therefore more in Grand Prix mode than in Endurance mode that Stefan Bradl tested some evolutions of the RC 213 V this week on behalf of the HRC on the Motegi circuit, one of the 3 test circuits defined for Honda with Jerez and Misano.

The temperatures were very high there and the German driver suffered, after having only had a few hours of rest on the plane taken upon the arrival of the German Grand Prix.

On a technical level, nothing new is visibly detectable in the photos distributed by 奥田康弘: “new style” saddle, aluminum swingarm, etc.
