We have plenty of images of crashes on our hard drives at each Grand Prix and, generally, we don't use them, unless, sometimes, the figure is amusing and has no consequences.

Today, five years after the disappearance of Marco Simoncelli, and even if the tragedy was ultimately avoided, it really came close during the Moto3 race at Phillip Island.

However, we decided to release the photos, and with a rant!

Not against the pilots, obviously, nor even the organizers who do everything they can to avoid the consequences of these falls, but against those who, hidden behind their computer or their smartphone, insult the pilots in the name of a so-called passion!

ALL these men aged between 16 and 37 risk their lives at every turn. One tiny mistake, just one small imperfection, and in a split second, what was an exciting sport turns into a completely uncontrollable event with no one knowing the outcome.

This time, even if John McPhee git completely stunned and Enea Bastianini writhing in pain, it didn't end too badly. Once again we can say. But looking at these two series of photos, we realize that it could have been quite different…

The photos are harsh and violent, but telling. So may those who still have the indecency to insult this or that pilot on our site or our Facebook page (before we discover them and ban them implacably), try to keep in mind and tell themselves that , Ultimately, ALL of these pilots are indeed highly estimable heroes, and deserve everyone's respect!

Thanks to them.

As spectacular as it is, the fall unfortunately does not stop there. We discover John McPhee inanimate while Enea Bastianini continues to slide in the trajectory of Jorge Navarro...

Note that everything happened extremely quickly but that Andrea Migno already running towards John McPhee which does not move.

In the last news, John McPhee latest suffers concussion and the thumb of the left hand fractured. The British pilot is forced to stay in Melbourne for about a week because, following a lung problem, he cannot yet fly. He will have thumb surgery before then.

To Enea Bastianini, a fracture of the T9 vertebra as well as a rib should probably end his season.
