La Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, you know ?

It is nothing more and nothing less than the fantastic and yet free promotional formula that has allowed champions to stand out from the crowd for 10 years. Won the first year by a certain Johann zarco, Jorge MartinWill Bendsneyder and Ayumu Sasaki being the latest winners.

This season, and for the first time in its history, the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup welcomed a young girl. Beatrice Neila, 14 years old, was indeed selected among 117 riders to participate in the 13 races which will take place during 7 rounds of the MotoGP world championship.

Unfortunately, last week, during the two days of testing at the Motorland Aragon circuit, the young Madrid native suffered a seemingly ordinary highside but as a result she lost consciousness and fractured her nose, right femur and wrist. LEFT.

Examined at the Alcaniz Hospital, she was then transported to the Miguel Servet University Hospital in Zaragoza where she underwent emergency surgery last Saturday.

The young pilot left Zaragoza hospital yesterday to begin her recovery in her city of Madrid.

With an estimated recovery period of between two and four months, it is very unlikely that she will be able to participate in the first round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup which will take place from May 5 to 7 in Jerez, nor in that of the European Talent Cup, a championship in which she had also just registered under the colors of the Stratos team.

We wish the speedy recovery to this unlucky young Spanish pilot.
