The presentation of the Estrella Galicia 0,0 / Marc VDS “family” held yesterday in Madrid at least broke a record; that of duration!

Indeed, it took no less than 2 hours 22 minutes to present the 14 riders gathered under the predominantly blue colors of the Iberian-Belgian association covering the speed competition from the Monlau Junior project to MotoGP.

The tone was therefore intended to be family-friendly, like the clothing, and so as not to put the present press to sleep, the presentations were interspersed with the presenter's antics as well as pieces of music played live on the podium. In theory, this type of presentation would have must have brought a little freshness, as for example the concert organized in the paddock of the Valencia Grand Prix by the Marc VDS team at the end of the season.
There, it fell a bit flat, no doubt partly because of the length of the event.

But it doesn't matter: one presentation doesn't make the season, and the home drivers have a serious chance of shining, or even winning the world title if we're talking about Enea Bastianini or Franco Morbidelli. For others, it may be more difficult, but we can be sure that they will spare no effort.

Marc Van der Straten : “Without Michael (Bartholemy), I might have stayed in motorsport, a world I have since left. Today, I am totally immersed in motorcycling. I am very happy and proud to be part of the motorcycle world. The passion turned into a concrete project thanks to meeting Michael, who taught me the true values of motorcycling, and I am really proud of what we have accomplished so far. Currently, in the Marc VDS team, we are at a very high level, and I am pleased to see that it is a sport which also attracts a lot of fans. For me, it is a great pleasure. At first it was all new to me, but now we are like a big family. We are a beautiful family. We are present at all levels of competition, in MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™. We have already been surprised by Jack and we will soon be surprised by Tito. From my drivers, I expect the best this year. I would like to thank the entire team for this presentation. »
