From Tuesday March 6 to Thursday March 8, the Jerez circuit will host the last official Moto2 and Moto3 tests of the 2018 pre-season.

Some drivers already came there for private testing barely two weeks ago, during which the records in both categories were shattered.

Indeed, the Spanish Moto2 rider Alex Marquez beat all previous records with a stratospheric time of 1'40.926 on the last day, not only forgetting the official record for this category, but also improving the 1'41.518 that the Portuguese driver Miguel Oliveira had registered during private tests conducted in November (see here).

In Moto3, the Italian Tony Arbolino was responsible for a 1'45.498 achieved on the last day of testing, which constitutes the best lap achieved so far on the Jerez track by a Moto3 (see here).

We remind you that the Andalusian circuit has been resurfaced.

The training sessions will be open to the public, who will be able to follow them free of charge from the X-1 stand.

Live Timing will be available on the official website MotoGP.com, as well as twice-daily reports on our site.
