To 32 drivers constituting the heart of the field of this 2017 Moto2 season, two local riders will be added for this Qatar Grand Prix.
The term “locals” does not necessarily mean “unknown” since one of them, Mashel Al Naimi, has already participated in two Grand Prix seasons, in 2010 and 2011, while Saeed Al-Sulaiti cut his teeth in FIM CEV Repsol before switching to Endurance to end up in the WorldSBK Championship on a Kawasaki ZX-10R last year.
The two men, entered by QMMF Racing on Speed Ups, are taking part in the official tests which are currently taking place at Losail.
