After a frosty first day in Austria, this morning the drivers had the pleasure of discovering the sun and much higher temperatures which should allow them to lower their times: 19° in the air, 21° on the track.

In 10 minutes, Jonas Folger, Johann Zarco and Marcel Schrotter drop below 1'30, thus demonstrating a faster track than yesterday, Alex Rins and Tom Lüthi remaining in ambush for just 1'30.
At the end of the first run, Johann Zarco improves the best time from the day before to 1'29.598. The Top 10 is then made up of Zarco, Folger, Schrotter, Rins, Lüthi, Pons, Aegerter, Marquez, Kent and Oliveira.
During the second run, Tom Lüthi and Dominique Aegerter each improve their position, the Garage Plus driver in second position, the one wearing the CarXpert colors placing 5th. Also good progress Sam Lowes, 7th, who until now had missed his weekend.
The last 5 minutes see alex rins remember in extremis to the good memory of everyone but Johann Zarco maintaining an advantage of 2 tenths over the closest competition.
