After a freezing first day in Austria dominated by Brad Binder, this morning the pilots have the pleasure of discovering much higher temperatures in an attempt to dethrone the leading rider of the Red Bull Ktm Ajo team: 16° in the air, 18° on the track.

During the first run, it's Phillip Oettl who tried it by taking the lead, with a time of 1'37.457, but his time was canceled for a classic overtaking of the curbs.
During the second run, it was the turn of Joan mir to make the first serious attack, in 1'36.620, but Brad Binder immediately responded in 1'36.580.
In the last minutes, Joan Mir receives reinforcement from her teammate fabio quartararo to put pressure on the South African but if the two starters of the Leopard team come very close, the #41 maintains a slight advantage, especially since Fabio very often sees his times canceled for exceeding the kerbs.
By placing 6 motorcycles in the lead, Ktm therefore retains the advantage of its private tests, the first Honda appearing in 7th place, the first Mahindra 14e.
Jules Danilo returns to 10th position, while we will notice the very good performance of the Rookie of the VR46 Riders Academy Marco Bezzechi, 16th!
