The driver of the 2020 France Vitesse Filière GP team, Bartholomé Perrin, has returned to training on the Alès circuit.

Selected at the end of 2019 for the Red Bull Rookies Cup, the young driver (16 years old) began his preparation during a Speed course organized by the FFM, but following confinement, he had not been able to ride since February. Bartholomé took the helm again this week during a 6-day preparation course.

During these 6 days, Bartholomé followed a complete program of driving and fitness at the Pôle Mécanique d'Alès and its surroundings. During three days of riding, Bartholomé was able to complete circuit laps on three complementary motorcycles: a 600 CBR Honda, a PreMoto3 KTM and a 125 YZF Yamaha. Accompanied by a young Japanese driver, Hikaru Arita, and with the advice of Alain Bronec, Bartholomé alternated between recovery sessions and specific work, particularly on entering corners and braking. The physical preparation sessions, supervised by Fréderic Weill, national Enduro trainer, were also quite busy, with for example an 80 km bike ride and 3 hours of hiking and climbing.

Bartholomé Perrin : " After 2 months of intensive training at home, what a joy to get back on the track. The sensations were there, I can't wait to start the races. A big thank you to the FFM! »

Bartholomé's 2020 season promises to be intense, with participation in two very high-level championships: the European Talent Cup and the Red Bull Rookies Cup. In order to be as well prepared as possible, Bartholomé will participate in another pre-season course organized by the FFM, mid-June, still on the Pôle Mécanique d'Alès, then in tests on the Estoril circuit, scheduled for June 28 and 29. The first race should take place in early July in Estoril (Portugal).
