Things seem to be speeding up regarding the 2018 MotoGP calendar. While waiting for thearrival from Finland in 2019, it is Thailand which holds the rope to make its appearance next season.

And, according to our information, she would do it at the end of the year in a block made up of four races in five weeks: Thailand/Malaysia straight away or Thailand/Japan straight away, then an Off weekend, then Australia/Japan straight away or Australia/Malaysia straight away.

To prepare for the Thai event which will take place on a Chang circuit in Buriram unknown to Grand Prix drivers, an IRTA test session will be held there in mid-February for MotoGP riders, instead of Australia.

As a reminder, Valentino Rossi had already expressed his disapproval of the circuit (see here).

A first version of the calendar, which could also see Qatar taking place on the weekend of March 18, should be revealed after the Grand Prix at Silverstone.
