This edition of the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring was marked by a record number of crashes. Never before on this route have we wallowed so much. The accident record until then was 65 and it dated back to last year. This time we got to 81. Not bad. Is the rain and the cold to blame? A questioning of the Michelins? What if it was a Pokemon attack?

You will hear about it very quickly. What ? From a new game which is already all the rage in certain parts of the world and which is called Pokemon Go.
The principle ? We geolocate your cell phone and place a Pokemon to fetch in a real setting expressed by your screen. A new treasure hunt, Easter eggs to find all year round.

Yes, but there are already accidents. Crowds are worrying and when the chase is done behind the wheel of your car or when you are taken straight to the middle of a highway, it becomes complicated. At Sachsenring, there must have been water Pokemon at turn 8 given the number of falls recorded this Sunday...

Did the 212.411 spectators recorded during this weekend see the critters? Quite a crowd given the terrible weather. Germany is a success from this point of view, passing the 192.450 of the French Grand Prix.

Having said that, Lorenzo had a bruised hand on Friday, and Bradl received a good blow to the head on Sunday which forced him to withdraw. In Moto2, Baldassari ran with a bad shoulder and Kidneys leaves with a crumpled right foot. In Moto3, finally, fabio quartararo had a small fracture in a finger on his left hand on Friday, Antonelli broke his left collarbone and Spiranelli left hand while Rodrigo damaged a finger on his left hand. Herrera fractured her left wrist.

For all these pilots, the summer break will be welcome... to catch Pokemon!
