If the Saxon circuit is not a priori not in favor of Andrea Iannone, it is obviously not for Andrea Dovizioso either.

This technically reveals to us precisely why; because of the large curves taken with the throttle partially open.

However, there are at least seven major curves on the German turnstile, only intersected by two short straight lines, one of which is downhill!

According to the Italian pilot, the solution could however come from Michelin tires who, for the first time this season, will be asymmetrical at the front and specifically developed for the requirements of the Sachsenring.

That’s all the harm we wish him!

Andrea Dovizioso, 11°, 43 points: “I think the Sachsenring circuit is not ideal for our Desmosedici GP, because it has a lot of long left curves that you have to take with the throttle partially open, and our bike is not not yet perfect in this area.
Either way, you never know what will happen before the first session, as it may be better with this year's different tires. It could be like in Assen in the dry, where we were very competitive. »
