This morning, the Moto2 riders almost had to wait halfway through the session to have a dry track. This afternoon is strangely similar and the session begins in complete silence, everyone remaining warm in their box. Warm, so to speak with a temperature of 16° and a track at 18°…

After long minutes, a handful of drivers tried their hand on the tricky surface, including Aegerter, Baldassarri, Zarco, Virgo and Marini. They lap in 1'27, which bodes well for a track that will soon be completely dry for the last quarter of an hour.
At the start of it, Johann zarco sets a first milestone in 1'26.328, ahead of Schrotter, Folger and Aegerter. However, he was quickly overtaken by Tom Luthi and Sandro Cortese who opened the hostilities. Jonas Folger will come and invite itself, with a 1'25.539 half a second from the Nakagami reference this morning.
He made a first attack 6 minutes from the checkered flag and positioned himself second, but it was ultimately Franco Morbidelli who managed to dislodge Folger from the top of the rankings table, in 1'25.413, 2 minutes from the end of the session.
Two minutes, however, is enough to Takaaki Nakagami to reestablish the leadership imposed this morning, in 1'25.244, a tenth faster than in the morning.
Johann zarco concludes 4th, Xavier Simeon 15th and Robin Mulhauser 25e.
