The rain intensified again after a Morning Warm Up during which the young Khairul Idham Pawi once again came to the fore.
Was it Enea Bastianini will start in pole position, Andrea Locatelli, who will start alongside him, was particularly quick this morning by taking the second time.
In the meantime, it's raining so much that we wonder if the race will be able to continue until the end...
When the red lights go out, Enea Bastianini
maintains the advantage of its pole position, ahead
Bendsneyder, Locatelli, Canet and Mc Phee.
Joan mir fall in turn “2.
Pawi, who started 20th, was already 7th while Bendsneyder took command of operations before the end of the first lap.
Locatelli and Pawi, the two strong men this morning, still grab a few places while Mc Phee takes the lead after 3 laps.
Shortly after, the classification appears as follows: Pawi, Ono, Mc Phee, Locatelli, Bastianini, then, further, Martin more than a second, Navarro, Di Giannantonio, Binder and Bendsneyder.
Pawi and Ono, both members of the team Honda Team Asia de Tadayuki Okada, gradually escape and build up a lead of 4 seconds at 20 laps after 7 laps, but Hiroki Ono gets in a huge heat and completely loses contact.
Guevara, Martin, Migno lost control of their bike in turn, just like Ono who returned to 6th position.
Meanwhile, Pawi, who continues to have fun (see our exclusive interview after his victory in Argentina), increases his lead to more than 11 seconds but shoots straight. However, he still leaves in the lead, having lost only 3 seconds in the process.
Jules Danilo is a solid 9th halfway through, Alexis Masbou 17th and Fabio Quartararo 23e.
Norrodin and Bulega increment the list of falls.
Positions are stabilized, except for duels Bastianini/McPhee and Binder/Navarro for, respectively, 3rd and 7th places.
7 laps from the checkered flag, Jorge Navarro, despite his double leg fracture, passes the championship leader then gets back into the group Bastianini/Kornfeil/Mc Phee/Di Giannantonio isolated behind Locatelli. He passes the last two but gets hot and has to return the two acquired positions.
In the last round, Di Giannantonio and McPhee are fighting for 5th position. The young Italian Rookie is doing the best.
Khairul Idham Pawi thus acquires the second victory of his very young career, ahead of Andrea Locatelli, another Rookie.
Jules Danilo, 9th, confirms its current consistency, whileAlexis Masbou crosses the line in 16th position, fabio quartararo in a very difficult 23rd place, more than one lap away.
