This year, the organizers of the San Marino Grand Prix once again did things well.

In addition to the new decorations made by Aldo Drudi on the track (see here), in addition to the surroundings of the circuit entirely adorned with its shimmering colors, the passage at very high speed and very low altitude of an Italian Air Force Tornado further increased the intensity of the minutes preceding the start of the MotoGP race.

With a truly deafening noise, and at an altitude of less than 100 m, the plane presented itself with its afterburner on coming from the sea, then traveled the straight line of the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” three times.

Residents in areas bordering the circuit had been warned so as not to be frightened by the noise.

The Tornado was decorated with a special decoration celebrating the 60th anniversary of the 311th Flight Group to which it belongs.
