This Wednesday morning, a magnitude 6,2 earthquake struck central Italy, in the Umbria region, leaving 38 dead and many injured, according to a provisional report from civil protection. Dozens of buildings were also destroyed where many people are still believed to be trapped. A region which is also that of Romano Fenati who is participating in the relief efforts.

A tragedy struck central Italy today at 03:30 a.m. An earthquake which affected, among other cities, that of Ascoli Piceno where Romano Fenati's family resides. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the fenati who escape with a damaged and seriously shaken family home. But still standing.

More fear than harm therefore for the fenati, but Romano did not feel sorry for himself. He has joins the first aid team in order to lend him a hand in the neighboring town of Amatrice. Three towns were almost completely destroyed: Amatrice, Accumoli and Pescara del Tronto. A behavior which also deserved to be highlighted…
