“I feel very good on this bike, I believe we have taken a positive step since Valencia and now I am starting to have confidence and to be more and more efficient. It's a good feeling to be back on the bike after the winter. My back is not 100% healed, but I have done good preparation and I am recovering.
“The good thing is that I have a better feeling with the machine, it's another motivation to improve. We found a good set-up with the machine and started working on the development. Today we mainly focused on finding a good setup that gives confidence to take my benchmarks with the 2016 GSX-RR, so that tomorrow when we introduce bigger improvements to the bike, I will be able to give correct comments to the team for comparative purposes.
