It’s an accessit that we no longer imagined was so coveted. The scene takes place in Moto3, a discipline where we focused on the issue of best beginner status to be awarded. But the ups and downs of Phillip Island left the game open for the status of vice-world champion. Who will be Binder's second?

The question remains asked at the end of the season with two Grands Prix. Malaysia will be followed by the Valencia final and there are still fifty points to be distributed. A glance at the general classification reveals a list of six drivers capable of being the runner-up to the already crowned king Binder.

Firstly there is bastianini who is mathematically best placed but who paradoxically has the least chance of achieving the objective. Indeed, the Gresini driver, who still went to Sepang in a wheelchair, has injured a vertebra since his accident in Australia and his collision with the motorcycle NAVARRO. The same NAVARRO who chases him at 21 points without impressing since his return from a leg injury.

So many pitfalls which leave open the hopes of Open up at 35 lengths which foresees a double blow: being vice-champion but also best beginner. An idea shared by Mir which follows him at five points while By Giannantonio only has two more late. The outsider of this tight game is finally bagnaia, capable of the best and the worst with his Mahindra and who regrets 44 units behind on bastianini.

Victory sides, bastianini claims one as Mir et bagnaia et NAVARRO two. The other two protagonists Open up et By Giannantonio none. The game will be close. Enough to always keep us awake.
