Sepang MotoGP FP4: Marquez makes the track

For the last free practice session, the MotoGP riders were able to compete against a Sepang track that was really wet and heading towards drying. The opportunity to discover a grippy coating, even in these particular conditions, a pleasant feeling for confidence. An essential fact for some, starting with Lorenzo. But it was Marquez who set the best time.

A session which took place in two parts. The first extended until ten minutes from the goal, devoting to Crutchlow determined who couldn't get in better shape for Q.1 which awaits him in a few minutes. Despite an apparently painful right hand since the fall in the morning which deprived him of a direct entry into Q.2, the Briton, the latest winner to date in Australia, made the powder speak by signing a time below the first. 2'12 per lap. The second episode revealed a Dovizioso faster and Lorenzo in the shot despite the watered asphalt. The two men were in the leading trio before being jostled by the inevitable Márquez who had his politeness grilled in the process by Casa Particular in Viñales.

Lorenzo is a good fourth ahead Dovizioso, Miller and Baz who will be doing the rain dance for tomorrow's race. Red follows while Baptist continues its good weekend with the Aprilia. Aleix Espargaró closes a top 10 missed by Iannone twelfth.
