In less than a week, two figures of French motorcycling have unfortunately left us. Little or not known to the general public, these two men, polar opposites of each other, were nevertheless brought together by the same passion for competition. Unanimously appreciated by the professional community, they deserve a final thought and a little tribute from us.

François Etterlé left at the age of 68, after a career that took him from Kawasaki to the commercial management of Suzuki France, via Bell and Shoei.

Author of " Hai, Hai! » and always passionate, the man remained an active and confirmed pilot, always planning to participate in the next Bol d'Argent.

Remaining simple despite his high responsibilities, we will remember more particularly our conversations, a few years ago, when we took care of "rebounding" a certain Valentin Debise, a subject brought up again, among others, during our last meeting on the Paul Ricard circuit this year.

Our affectionate thoughts are obviously with his family.

The other character is called Fabrice Miguet and was killed in a figure eight in the Ulster Grand Prix Superstock race on Saturday.

Nicknamed “Mig”, he was 49 years old and known for his passion matched by his kindness.

This video will give an idea to those who don't know.
