With the first two sessions interrupted by rain, and a possibility of it returning this afternoon for qualifying, the Moto2 riders knew very well that they did not have much time to hang around for this FP3.

Immediately, the big names in the category pushed hard, Takaaki Nakagami starting in 2'08.348 ahead Jonas Folger, Tom Luthi, Sam Lowes, Johann Zarco and Alex Marquez, while Miguel Oliveira fell without gravity. Simone Corsi followed shortly after.
Once these first milestones were set, the riders were able to work on the settings of the motorcycles and the choice of tires, before starting to increase the pace again in the last quarter of an hour.
In this game, it's a new time Sam Lowes who shows himself the strongest, by aligning times gradually increasing from 2'08.194 to 2'07.564. Nakagami, Luthi, Zarco and Folger cannot do anything to counter the stage local who will remain in control of his land when the checkered flag passes. However, at less than 3 tenths, the first three aforementioned do not intend to make things easy for the Briton tomorrow in the race...
A little further on in the ranking, we will note the good performance of Xavi Verge who, since Brno, seems to have gone into overdrive on the handlebars of his Mistral Tech3 which now appears quite regularly in the Top 15.
Xavier Simeon finished 14th, Robin Mulhauser, 28rd.
We will obviously not forget to notice the 23rd position ofalex rins, 19 points behind Zarco in the championship, still suffering after his collarbone operation.
