The young Spanish drivers are very motivated at home, and from this Saturday the battle was intense. Jorge Martin finished this third free practice session in the lead, ahead of Marcos Ramirez, Aron Canet and Joan Mir.

The temperature was much more favorable than the day before, with a dry track. The track temperature was 17° and the air temperature was 15°. John mcphee, who had fallen heavily the day before, was not in too much pain, with the exception of a bandaged finger on his left hand. Most of the drivers started on medium at the front and rear to carry out long runs.

Roman Fenati established an interesting first reference time in 1'47.804, already significantly faster than the best time of the day before. Jorge Martin, excellent and surprising second in the provisional ranking of the World Championship, established the second performance at 0.1 from Fenati. Nicholas Bulega brought the best KTM into third position, behind two Hondas. Livio Law fell without gravity in turn 11 following Bulega.

We were changing the shock absorber on the Honda Leopard Racing Joan mir 25 minutes from the checkered flag, the Championship leader was then nineteenth. Aron Canet took the lead in 1'47.729, ahead of Fenati by 0.075. Joan Mir then took the lead in 1'47.162. Canet immediately responded in 1'47.032. Jules Danilo was then in nineteenth position at 1.7.

After all the riders had passed through the pits with around twelve minutes to go, the two KTM Ajo riders moved up the standings, with Will Bendsneyder fourth and Niccolo Antonelli sixth. Philipp Oettl brought the first KTM into fourth position, 0.4 behind Canet.

The groups were formed at the end of the session and both Mir and Canet found themselves stuck. George Martin progressed to first position in 1'46.876, then in 1'46.513. Canet found a clear lap and moved up to second at 0.1.

Marcos Ramirez overtook Canet under the checkered flag for second place. Jorge Martin finished FP3 in the lead, ahead of Marcos Ramirez, Aron Canet and Joan Mir. Jules Danilo finished thirteenth.
