Four Grands Prix have been contested in this MotoGP season and it is clear that everything still needs to be done. We first thought of Viñales' narrow escape, then we believed in Márquez's collapse while betting on Rossi pulling the chestnuts out of the fire. On the evening of Jerez, everything has to be reconsidered, as if these four meetings had only been a preliminary before getting to the heart of the matter for the French Grand Prix, at Le Mans.

The proof with this inventory: Valentino Rossi leads the title race with 62 points but is followed by Casa Particular in Viñales his teammate who regrets only two points behind. As for Marc Márquez, it only took him two rounds to regain his health after his disillusionment in Argentina since here he is four lengths behind.

But that's not all. With the awakening of Pedrosa in Spain, a fourth thief has declared himself. Dani is only ten units behind the Doctor in the lead and has broken away from the rest of the peloton led by Dovizioso which claims a capital of 41 points.

Johann zarco is a good sixth with 35 points, which puts him first among the independents ahead of Crutchlow et Folger which have 29 points. With his third place in Jerez, Lorenzo increases its rating with 28 points while Petrucci closes the top 10 with 26 units. See you on May 19 in Sarthe!
