Barely got off his Honda RC213V, the 3000th winner in Grand Prix history, Dani Pedrosa spoke to the site's microphone MotoGP.com  after having had an almost perfect weekend.

Congratulations on this race that you led from start to finish. How difficult was it when Marc was behind you?

Dani Pedrosa : “yes, it was a race in which it was extremely difficult to stay calm, because I wanted to go faster but the track conditions were not there. I almost felt like I was falling in certain turns. I had to use the hard front tire, which is not my favorite, so I wasn't really comfortable. So, every lap, I had to stay very, very focused to stay precise and also keep my rear tire, because I had chosen the medium compound. And it's true, towards the end or the middle of the race, Marc started to be very fast and to put pressure. But I was able to control my pace, and manage my times and my driving style.
I am very happy. It's so good to win on this circuit, for my team, for myself, for my family and for my friends. It's just incredible. »
