You probably hadn't noticed, but since Mugello, Marc Márquez has used the same frame as Cal Crutchlow, Jack Miller and Tito Rabat.

This framework already has a long history since it is the one used by Dani Pedrosa last year during this same Catalan Grand Prix, before being abandoned and recovered by Cal Crutchlow to finish the 2016 season (see article here). It was later adopted by Jack Miller et Tito Rabat during the post-Valencia 2016 tests in preparation for this 2017 season.

Featuring much thinner spars than the usual chassis used by Marc Márquez, it is therefore much less rigid, which seems a priori adapted to the particularly bumpy Barcelona circuit.

But for the moment, it hardly seems suitable for Marc Márquez who has already suffered five falls on the Catalan track this weekend.
