Mass Damper, electronic, or simple mass transfer? All hypotheses have been put forward to justify the famous “salad box” placed under the Ducati saddle.
Since the pre-season tests at Sepang, we have even seen certain versions of it widen without understanding the reason.
Today, during the double fall of Jack Miller and Danilo Petrucci, we were able to see what was inside. And unfortunately, that tells us nothing!
We can make out a big black box closed with ties, like a battery container, without knowing what's inside.
During a previous crash, we thought we saw a stack of electronic boxes, but this time, everything is well hidden in this black box.
Clearly, we must be laughing at Ducati…
