During this weekend at Le Mans, on Friday we were able to observe Yamaha chassis strangely resembling the 2017 V2 frames that appeared at the post-Barcelona test.
Victorious at Assen with Valentino Rossi, they were then put aside for lack of traction. They were recognized by the weld which indicated a reinforcement, and it was always this which was spotted on the machines of Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi on the first day of the French Grand Prix.
2017 V2 frame or new modification on a “2018” frame, everything is possible because on the M1 of Maverick Vinales, the area concerned seems to have been repainted recently…
