SSP 300, Imola J2, Superpole: Verdoïa and de Cancellis in the top 4

During free practice on Friday, the best came back – Group A and Group B combined – to Marc Garcia (DS Junior Team) in 2'07.028 ahead of Mika Perez (Scuderia Maranga Racing) in 2'07.297, Hugo De Cancellis (Team Trasimeno Yamaha ) in 2'07.385, Galang Hendra Pratama (Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing) in 2'07.470, Bruno Ieraci (Kawasaki GP Project) in 2'07.502 and Kevin Sabatucci (Team Trasimeno Yamaha) in 2'07.662.

World leader Manuel González (Kawasaki ParkinGO Team) only ranked 8th in Group A behind reigning Champion Ana Carrasco. In this same Group A, Kyrian Hartmann (Team MHP Racing-Patrick Pons) was 24th and Steffie Naud (Flembbo Leader Team) 27th.

In Group B, Enzo de la Vega (Flembbo Leader Team) finished 4th ahead of Andy Verdoïa (BCD Yamaha MS Racing) 5th on the first day, with Mateo Pedeneau (Team MHP Racing-Patrick Pons) 8th, Joseph Foray (Prodina IRCOS Kawasaki) 17th, Romain Dore (Team MHP Racing-Patrick Pons) 26th and Adrien Quinet (TGP Racing) 27th.

Qualifying Group A: Fall and best time for Mike Perez, ahead of Hugo de Cancellis

Mika Perez took the lead in 2'06.351, 0.9 ahead of Marc Marcia and 1.2 ahead of Ana Carasco. Kyrian Hartmann (Team MHP Racing-Patrick Pons), Hugo de Cancellis (Team Trasimeno Yamaha) and Steffie Naud (Flembbo Leader Team) were riding grouped from 22nd to 24th place.

Leader Mark Perez fell at the end of the session, fortunately without damage. He finished just 0.067 ahead of Hugo de Cancellis and 0.4 ahead of reigning Champion Ana Carrasco. Kyrian Hartmann finished 24th and Steffie Naud 26th.

Qualifications Group B: Ieraci ahead of Verdoïa

Bruno Ieraci (Kawasaki GP Project) once again dominated Group B, as he has since the start of the weekend. In 2'06.804, he was ahead of Scott Deroue by 0.1 and Frenchman Andy Verdoïa (BCD Yamaha MS Racing) by 0.6.

The ranking remained stable throughout the session, then Verdoïa moved into second, 0.025 behind Ieraci with 2 minutes remaining. Ieraci fell at the end of the session, interrupted by the red flag 4 seconds from the checkered flag.

Enzo de la Vega (Flembbo Leader Team) finished ninth, Joseph Foray (Prodina IRCOS Kawasaki) eleventh, Mateo Pedeneau (Team MHP Racing-Patrick Pons) fourteenth, Romain Dore (Team MHP Racing-Patrick Pons) twenty-fourth just ahead of Adrien Quinet (TGP Racing). Sofuoglu was declared unfit due to facial trauma.
