Superpole favorite, Robert Schotman (Kawasaki Motoport) who was the fastest of the two groups in 1'50.111, had to be wary of Galang Hendra Pratama (Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing), of Championship leader Manuel González (Kawasaki ParkinGO Team ), as well as Nick Kalinin (Nutec – RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki), Andy Verdoïa (BCD Yamaha MS Racing), Omar Bonoli (Team Trasimeno Yamaha) and Ana Carrasco (Kawasaki Provec WorldSSP300), the fastest in the combined standings.
During the Superpole of Group A competitors, 29 drivers took to the track, or half of the entire field for this Italian weekend, with six wildcards. Manuel Gonzalez was the first to set a reference time of 1'50.425. Ana Carrasco then took the lead in 1'50.245. Then Gonzalez regained first position in 1'49.646.

Behind the two Kawasakis, Galang Hendra brought the first Yamaha into third position in 1'50.445, while Hugo de Cancellis was in fifth position in 1'50.677.

A few drops of rain started to fall lightly in Turn 4. Then it rained heavily across the entire circuit with 3 minutes to go. Samuel di Sora was 11th, Enzo de la Vega 20th, Kyrian Hartmann 26th and Steffie Naud 28th.

During the Superpole for Group B drivers, it was no longer raining, but the track was wet. Tom Bramich took the initial advantage in 2'05.878. Filippo Rovelli (the son of the boss of ParkinGo) took the lead in 2'01.701, ahead of Andy Verdoïa at 0.145. About halfway through the session, Romain Dore was 11th, Adrien Quinet 13th, Matéo Pedeneau 17th and Joseph Foray 21st.
Andy Verdoïa became leader 7 minutes from the end in 2'00.143, ahead of Victor Steeman at 1.152. Great journey at 16! (see videos below). Then he progressed further in 1'59.231. Romain Dore was the first in the session to fall without seriousness.
Andy Verdoïa was therefore the magnificent dominator of this Group B ahead of Victor Steeman, while Matéo Pedeneau was 12th, Romain Dore 16th, Joseph Foray 25th and Adrien Quinet 27th.
