She has just announced her signing with the Provec Racing team, which is nothing other than the structure with which Jonathan Rea has won his world Superbike titles over the last four years. The Kawasaki team has decided to enter the Supersport 300 and will therefore count the reigning World Champion in its ranks.
The latter declared: “First of all, I am very happy to continue being a Kawasaki rider. I would like to sincerely thank all the work done by the DS Junior Team in 2018 with which we managed to be titled World Champions. Despite all the public relations activities since my title, my priority has always been to find the best technical means for 2019."
Ana Carrasco also chose to clearly display her title on the track via her number, and hopes to be able to defend it in 2019: “I will wear number one and that means the pressure will be very high. We will see if we will be able to be at the highest level again. »
