Now in World Superbike at Ten Kate Honda, Bradl follows with interest the first year of his compatriot Folger in MotoGP at Tech 3. He judges his rookie season favorably, including the superb second place in the German Grand Prix.

Stefan Bradl has also been on the podium once in MotoGP, in 2013 at Laguna Seca. He had previously won two Grands Prix in 125, then five in Moto2, which allowed him to obtain the title of World Champion in 2011. He participated in 173 Grands Prix, including 86 in MotoGP between 2012 and 2016, with three seasons on Honda then two on Aprilia.

Bradl fully appreciates Folger’s great rookie year: “ It's a very good season, with the podium at Sachsenring being incredibly strong.

“Both Tech-3 pilots have very good equipment. They were very good from the start, and the bike is easy to ride, from what we see. Both give very strong performances and spark. Jonas does a very good job. And it's not easy, because he has to confirm every weekend. »

The two rookie drivers of the Tech 3 team are involved in a hotly contested championship. “ Every point is extremely important for the world title contenders, and it's very exciting. I can't imagine that one of these drivers can secure the title two or three races before the end of the season. This is an incredibly exciting fight for the spectators. »

However, the performance of official Yamahas varies from one circuit to another. “ I would say it's not just Yamaha, as Honda also struggled a bit more in some races. Ducati on the other hand is on the rise at the moment. In fact, this Championship is a very good mix between these three manufacturers whose strong points are different from one circuit to another. »

Who does Stefan Bradl favor for the world title at the end of the season? “ Marquez is my favorite for the title, especially with the races he's doing, and he was my favorite at the start of the season. »
