Misano Adriatico, Saturday September 14, Valentino Rossi and Franco Morbidelli pay homage under the graphics of Aldo Drudi to Romagna gastronomy and to the Italian-Brazilian pilot Gianni Rolando.

« Menu Misano ", Valentino Rossi's latest helmet pays homage to the Misano race but also to local traditions, taking up the two key symbols of Dottore, namely the sun and the moon respectively taking the form of a "piadina" and a slice white, red and green watermelon;
Worn at home, the AGV Pista GP R is unsurprisingly designed by Aldo Drudi. “ Menu Misano " is a theme that is both fun and carefree, a reflection of Valentino's personality, artfully translated into images that attract attention on and off the runway. The helmet features Valentino's iconic motifs such as his dogs and cat dressed in the colors of his fan club.

Flashback to the 70s/80s for Franco Morbidelli's helmet which honors Gianni Rolando, 500 category driver at the time and friend of Franco since the start of his career. So old school graphics, a replica of the Piedmontese pilot, mixing white and red with a refined style which does not forget modernity. We find a mix of Italian and Brazilian flags flying at the top of the cap and the “21” flocked to the back. Note that this helmet will be auctioned by Rolando and the profits will be donated to the IOR, the Romagnol Oncological Institute.

For the record, both drivers ride equipped with the top of the range racing AGV: the Pista GP R, a helmet born and made for the track. Present in the Italian manufacturer's range, the full fiber kit is available to the general public at a price starting at 1 euros. Sizes: from XS to 500XL.
