Alpinestars has chosen the Consumer Electronics Show 2022 in Las Vegas to unveil the new Tech-Air systems dedicated to motorcyclists. The equipment manufacturer continues to learn from its experiences in various motorsports to further develop its technology, and uses this knowledge to continue to progress

Airbags are becoming more and more present, whether in competition or on the street. Whether Dainese or Alpinestars, each equipment manufacturer offers it in its range. Over the years, Alpinestars has also focused on developing Tech-Air offerings for regular, everyday use, as well as the special requirements of those who prefer to ride on the racetrack or off the beaten track.

At CES, Alpinestars unveiled its new Tech-Air 10, Tech-Air 3 and Tech-Air Off-Road V2 airbag systems. The Tech-Air 10 is the latest version of its suit system dedicated to the track. Meanwhile, the Tech-Air 3 is the over-jacket system developed specifically by Alpinestars for daily road use. Finally, the Tech-Air Off-Road V2 is dedicated to more off-road use. Alpinestars has tested this system extensively during the last three Dakar rallies, aiming to ensure it is ready for all situations.

The Alpinestars Tech-Air 10 can be worn under Alpinestars Tech-Air Ready racing suits, as well as suits from other manufacturers that have 4 centimeters of additional headroom around the rider's chest circumference, as well as 2 extra centimeters around the hips. The Tech-Air 10 covers the rider's shoulders, chest, back and hips with electronically controlled airbag protection.

The Tech-Air 3 system was designed for all weather conditions, as riders don't always have the everyday luxury of pleasant riding weather in everyday life. It comes in men's and women's versions (under the Alpinestars Stella brand) and has also been designed to be quite compact so that it can be stored away neatly when not in use.

Alpinestars says the Tech-Air Off-Road V2 will be available later in 2022, but does not give further details on an exact timeline. The company currently lists all of its available equipment versions in the Tech-Air line on its website.
