Italian equipment manufacturer Alpinestars collects a multitude of data from its MotoGP and WSBK riders. The clothing giant then uses this data to adapt its racing protection technology to its road range. Alpinestars gloves continue to benefit from this extensive research and development, and the new GP Tech V2 gloves provide professional-grade protection for amateur riders.

Suitable for both road and track, the GP Tech V2 features a kangaroo leather construction that provides protection against abrasion as well as excellent feel on the controls. Additional stretch inserts provide abrasion resistance in a key area while a dual-density shell provides Level 2 impact protection without sacrificing the rider's range of motion.

These protective efforts extend beyond the wrist, however, with the dual-density GP DFS cuff providing impact and abrasion mitigation. Minimal seams also reduce the risk of seam failure in the event of a crash while making the glove more comfortable for the user. Stretch backhand panel provides additional flexibility and dexterity.

Safety remains the key word of these 2KP level CE certified gloves with sliders on the palm and long cuff, an injected and ventilated shell on the top of the hand, protections on the fingers, reinforcements on the palm and a anti-twist bridge between the ring finger and the little finger.

A dual closure system ensures the gloves stay in place during an accident, while finger and palm sliders prevent the GP Tech V2 from snagging objects. An anti-twist band connecting the ring and little fingers also helps reduce the risk of finger injuries. All the safety and comfort amenities place the GP Tech V2 near the top of the Alpinestars range.

The new Alpinestars GP Tech V2 gloves cost €314,95 and are available in black/white, black/white/red and black/yellow. The brand offers gloves from S to 3XL.
