With the highly anticipated RS 660, Aprilia seems to have created the model that every biker dreams of. A motorcycle that combines essential everyday versatility with pure sport that demands the label of track rider. It seems that the engineers of the Noale brand did not rest on their laurels, and were also very busy developing the Superbike in the range: the RSV4.

Stolen photos of this new Superbike from the Italian brand belonging to the Piaggio group were posted on the account Motomaniaci’s Instagram. The blurry photos clearly indicate the photographer's excitement at coming across the 4 Aprilia RSV2021, which appears to be driving around town for testing purposes.

Presumably, the 2021 version of the Aprilia RSV4 will have a similar design to its little sister, the RS 660. It might look like an oversized RS 660, but that huge side exhaust might just be the legacy of an RSV4. We must manage to integrate a catalyst capable of complying with Euro 5 anti-pollution standards.

Unlike the RSV4 1100 Factory model, the motorcycle seen in these photos does not have aerodynamic appendages or winglets. In terms of dimensions, it appears to be close to the current model, except for all the blacked-out parts and details.

It is very likely that the 2021 model of the RSV4 will be an evolution of the current version, and not a completely redesigned motorcycle. To date, no official release date has been revealed.
