[Street] Bell Bullit Mulholland by Roland Sands: the helmet caught up with racing DNA

The BELL brand symbolizes the history of motorcycles, with its Culture Classic range it revives the spirit of the 70s and 80s. By continuing to produce these models such as the Moto-3, the Bullitt beyond memories it is a whole part of the history of motorcycling which remains open to the memory of the elders and to be discovered by the youngest. The Bullitt is an iconic helmet, a helmet anchored in a rich past, mixed with a style and design that could be described as “neo-retro” inspired by the legendary Bell Star helmets of the 60s and 70s.

For summer 2022, the brand has let one of its favorite designers imagine a special series. It is therefore Roland Sands Design which signs the latest limited version of the Bullit and aptly named Mulholland in homage to the spirit of wild American races practiced on an equally legendary road on the heights of Los Angeles which has brought together hordes of bikers for several decades. Made on the basis of Bullit carbon, the Mulholland version combines visible carbon and varnished racing colors of yesteryear. A sporting spirit reinforced by the addition of brand logos also symbolizing performance. This new decor imagined by the Californian Custom specialist is ideal for bagger enthusiasts eager for sportiness.

Since its introduction in 1967, the BELL Star helmet on which the Bullitt is inspired has long been represented as THE benchmark in protection. When it was released it was one of the first full-face helmets on the market, it was the source of a new development of helmets for many manufacturers. Behind this vintage and minimalist appearance, the Bullitt is no less modern by using current composite materials, while retaining the emblematic screen, a characteristic element of this era. The chin guard retains its original design. The Bullitt's shell is made from carbon fiber, 3 sizes are used to serve the six sizes available, and just as many EPS liner. The interior foams are partly covered with leather, they are removable and washable. The tightening strap is of the double-D type allowing rapid and precise tightening.
