The Bitubo XXF-31 monoshock is certainly not one of the latest innovations, but it remains in the game, with three separate hydraulic adjustments. Designed for competitors, this shock absorber differs from its predecessor mainly with its preload system aimed at easily adjusting the spring calibration.

Made like its predecessor from stainless steel and aluminum, the XXF-31 shock absorber does not hide its racing ambitions. With new treatments aimed at significantly reducing friction, in particular the stick-slip phenomenon (jerky movements), the XXF-31 gains weight which allows it, dynamically, to limit inertia during rapid trajectory changes while improving performance at high oscillation frequencies.
On this version, the rider can act on the length of the combination in its lower part in order to intervene on the attitude of the motorcycle while being able to adjust three hydraulic adjustments: spring pre-load, rebound and double compression (fast and slow). The main evolution remains in the addition of a brand new prestressing system, now allowing the spring calibration to be adjusted without dismantling the shock absorber. A real advantage in the paddocks…
