In their sights are the Harley-Davidson Electrica Glide, Street Gide, Road King and other Indian Chieftains. The Bavarian is offering its R18 in a Bagger version, a variation in final testing since it was “shot” by our colleagues from RideApart.
In the photos we see the 1800 cc big Boxer equipped with a windshield and side cases. Made for cruisers, the German is clearly focusing on driving comfort, as evidenced by a Pullman-style saddle... A big road bike which should therefore arrive quickly. It remains to be seen the level of electronics present (even if we say it will be generous), the optional or standard peripherals (electric windshield, heating elements, reverse gear, etc.), without forgetting the price.
