Ettore Bugatti, founder of the car manufacturer, had a saying: “Nothing is too beautiful, nothing is too expensive”. This also applies to the brand's first electric scooter, which has for the occasion formed a partnership with Bytech to design this two-wheeled vehicle.

Owned for several months by Rimac, the cult motorsport brand, Bugatti, whose head office is located in Dorlisheim in Bas-Rhin, has begun its electric transition. But, while observers were waiting for the presentation of a Chiron-style supercar powered by electricity, Bugatti surprised everyone by unveiling a much less noisy vehicle, an electric scooter.

To manufacture this electric scooter, Bugatti partnered with the company Bytech International. She promises a vehicle “equipped with cutting-edge technologies to ensure driver protection”.

The scooter is capable of traveling up to 30 km/h with its 700 watt motor. The announced range is 35 km thanks to the removable 10 Ah battery. The vehicle integrates three driving modes – economical, city and sport – depending on your habits. Bugatti explains that the product was designed to be as aerodynamic as possible, with a magnesium alloy chassis to make it lighter.

However, despite these efforts, the scooter is approaching 16 kg. Bugatti has integrated electronic ABS on the rear wheel, which is not so common on this type of vehicle. The particularity praised by the brand? The machine can project “EB”, the initials of the manufacturer Ettore Bugatti, onto the ground.

In June 2021, Ducati unveiled its cheapest two-wheeler: the Pro-I Evo electric scooter, priced at €449. The Italians now have competition in the sector, even if Ducati was already known for manufacturing two-wheelers.

Top performance for this scooter, as well as a design that sets it apart from the classic in its genre. Unfortunately, Bugatti has not announced availability and even less price, but you should probably expect a fairly high price...
