When we talk about recall campaigns, we generally think of manufacturers. This is not always the case, as proof Bering is recalling its C-Protect Air airbags.

Rather exceptional fact, even if this is not the first time that Bering has initiated a recall campaign. Indeed, in 2011 the French bear requested the repatriation of its wireless airbags which tended to trigger autonomously. The diodes placed on the communication box played Christmas lights following signals from the shock box sent randomly.

Today the problem lies with the vehicle strap and/or the elastic strap of the vest.

Here's what the manufacturer says:
Bering therefore asks to suspend use of the product and to go to the dedicated page to check whether the model is affected by the procedure: http://www.bering.fr/airbag/cpa.html.
The customers concerned, after providing their contact details, will receive the replacement part(s) as soon as possible, as well as a brief explanatory note.
The brand also requests that the components concerned be destroyed or rendered unusable.
