98 examples of Yamaha YZF-R3 are being recalled to the workshop. The cause: a weakness in the horn electrical harness and the front brake hose.
New return to dealerships of the YZF-R3. After its recall last May, the little sports car had to return to the workshop following a fault in the front brake hose and the horn harness. In fact, steering movements can wear out the brake hose due to possible friction between the hose and the harness. The support for said hose can also become detached from the fork leg and therefore wear out. The manufacturer will therefore replace the supports, modify the passage of the horn harness and check the condition of the front brake hose. This will be replaced if necessary.
The intervention will be carried out at a Yamaha dealership and will, as usual, be entirely covered by the brand.
Only concerned the 2019 vintage of the Yamaha YZF-R3, i.e., for France, 98 motorcycles.
