Return to the fold for 11 T-Max 429. Yamaha launches a recall campaign for center stand problem.

As a precaution Yamaha is changing the center stand of the T-Max 530 (2017 to 2019) due to weak welding between the stand arms and the transverse reinforcement bar. To avoid broken welds that could cause the maxi-scooter to fall, Yamaha replaces said central stand.

“The welding process between the arms of the stand and the transverse reinforcement bar is imperfect and consequently the strength of the central stand is insufficient” underlines the brand with three tuning forks which will change the element free of charge. Affected customers will receive a registered letter and must make an appointment for replacement.
